What is Health Coaching?

As a personal health coach, I work one on one with individuals or groups to un-complicate all of the confusing and contradicting information surrounding nutrition. I help clients procure ideal happiness and wellness by finding that sweet spot between loving food without it becoming an unhealthy obsession. Clients learn knowledge and skills to navigate through the ever evolving wellness world and manage social situations with ease. In many cases I also assist the client in reestablishing respect and gratitude for their body. Tuning in and learning how to listen to and honor our physical beings, finding harmony between mind, body and spirit

My Philosophy

I believe our diets should feel full, nurturing and expansive. Not empty, inaccessible or restrictive.  This is why my approach to healthy living does not require, expensive powders, tonics or cleanses.  There is no weighing, counting or tallying.

Sometimes this means untangling all of the messy, societal constructs around health and body image. Sifting through those debilitating thoughts, beliefs and perhaps that uncomfortable ‘stuff’ that may be holding you back from achieving your best, happiest and healthiest self.

I know first hand, that eating well, exercising, creating new habits and routine can feel daunting and challenging. This is is why I guarantee y to feel confident in your health and health outcomes as we progress. I promise to give you the knowledge and space to make your own decisions that you feel empowered in. I will guide you and help facilitate gradual changes, providing support along the way. I will be available to you outside of our sessions because this is when the real work is done. Through health coaching you will receive ongoing support, tips, recipes and guidance to make sustainable improvements to your health and lifestyle.
